Random Acts of Kindness Go A Long Way for Our Teachers

So, I'll be honest. I wasn't always the perfect student. I could be rebellious, a troublemaker, even a class clown. Overtime, I grew out of that phase.  Eventually, I the took time to sit back and reflect on my life. That's when I realized what an incredible place teachers have in our communities. God put it on my heart to share the love in a big way. That's why AmazingGrace.Life has an active teachers appreciation program. We fix up teachers lounges, we supply coffee maker's and coffee, and send the teachers on field trips to places like the zoo and Six Flags with their families. They are so appreciative of these small gifts. In fact, often times their eyes fill with tears of appreciation. When God puts something on your heart, do it!  If you listen to God, do what He says, and He will bless you. He will transform your heart and your life. These teachers have blessed us more than we could ever bless them.

As you start a new school year, surround yourself with good people that are like-minded. People that are uplifting and positive, people that will support you and keep you on track. In other words, surround yourself with people who are doing the right thing. Start a Bible study, do random acts of kindness, and step out of your comfort zone to grow as a person. Ask God to bring people into your life that he would want you to be with. Take time, allow God to give you the freedom He promises if you trust in Him. Pray for your teachers, they have wisdom, listen to them and be nice to them. They have your best interest in mind, just like Jesus does.

AmazingGrace.Life hopes this is the year you #JoinTheJourney with us. What will you do to show the educators in your life they are appreciated? Share your thoughts with us.

Bringing HOPE to Baltimore through Mercy Chef's

AmazingGrace.Life is making neighborhoods safer and bringing people closer to God with our partner, Mercy Chefs. Here we are in Baltimore spreading our love through food, conversation, and passing out our pamphlets to help people #JoinTheJourney. A dozen people accepted Christ here, it was truly incredible.

Our friends at Mercy Chef's live to love others. The Baltimore Police Chief, Melvin Russell says events like this reduce crime by 23% for the next 90 days!

And in this picture, the man in the middle was truly honest. He told us he was fresh out of jail after nearly 5 years behind bars. He then asked if he could cook and serve with Mercy Chefs to do something positive.

We believe in the power of the human spirit and the beauty of what God can bring to each of our lives.

What are you doing to bring HOPE to your community!?
